"What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have never been discovered."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

COME ONE! COME ALL!

At the National Butterfly CenterTM in Mission, Texas, we are committed to advancing our mission of GROWING CONNECTIONS between people, plants and pollinators, so this April 18 - 21, 2020, we will host the inaugural Wild Gardening Festival

Our goal? Improving the planet one rooftop, one roadside, one yard at a time.

This 4-day festival is designed to benefit gardeners at every experience level and in every setting.  Whether you are just getting started or ready to take on a massive project, we have world-class speakers, practical workshops and delightful field trips to help you on your way, during the peak of wildflower season in Texas.

We believe every person can make the world a better place just by getting their hands dirty.

Please join us this April 18-21, 2020, to learn more about all the ways in which gardening for butterflies, birds, bees and other wildlife, is #GoodHabitatForming.
